The National Hurricane Center said that Tropical Storm Fiona is likely to impact the Leeward Islands, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Haiti by this weekend.
If Fiona keeps moving west in the range of 50 to 60 mph, residents of these areas may have to deal with heavy rainfall, flash flooding and mudslides in areas of higher terrain.
Swells could also cause life- threatening surf and rip current conditions.
