Marcus Moore Named ABC News London-Based Foreign Correspondent – Adweek

ABC News announced that Marcus Moore is moving from Dallas to London, becoming the network’s new foreign correspondent.
The news was announced this morning by ABC News president Kim Godwin.
In the note, Godwin said, “Marcus is a talented reporter who brings sharp coverage to all of our programs and platforms, and he is no stranger to traveling the globe.”
Moore has been with ABC News since 2017, joining the organization as a Dallas-based correspondent. During that time, he covered the deadly mass shootings in Uvalde, El Paso, Santa Fe, and Sutherland Springs, Texas. He has reported from Kyiv, Ukraine, and the Poland border covering the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia; He covered the protests surrounding the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and he has also reported from Guatemala and Mexico, covering the families migrating from those countries while risking their lives in the process.
He’s also reported on the assassination of former President of Haiti Jovenel Moïse and kidnapped missionaries from Haiti, from the eye of Hurricane Dorian, as the category 5 storm devastated Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong, and on the deadly White Island volcano eruption in New Zealand.
Moore is an Emmy Award winner and is also fluent in Spanish and Russian. He begins his new assignment in the first week of October.
