The Lady Jaguars were dumped from the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Championship, losing to Haiti 1-2 in the round of 16 last evening at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.
Guyana’s starting XI comprised, Anessa O’Brien, Valentina Khan, Shamya Daniels, Jenea Knight, Jessica Myers, Savannah Mordesir-Singh, Audrey Narine, Kiana Khedoo, Samantha Banfield, Dylana Makarowski and Inari Moore.
It was the third consecutive loss for the Lady Jaguars in what was a rematch of the quarterfinal round in the 2020 edition [Haiti won 3-0], as a second half collapse sealed Guyana’s exit from the tournament.
