Haiti Scholars host ArtFest for Haiti Nov. 6 – Chicago Daily Herald

ArtFest for Haiti featuring art by local and Haitian artists comes to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Naperville on Saturday, Nov. 6. It will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church’s Celebration Campus, 919 S. Washington St. Attendance is free. Donations are appreciated.
Local artists, Haiti Scholars, and businesses will exhibit their merchandise and activities for the purpose of raising funds for Haiti Scholars, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships and humanitarian aid to children in Mariani, Haiti.
Local artists include: Art by TKB, Nancy Krahn Jewelry Design, Victoria Belz Art, Laurie Pollpeter Eskenazi Ceramic Artist, Kate Keilty Pottery, Lindsay Luker Yoga, and Cheryl Holz Nature Inspired Mixed Media. There also will be a raffle and silent auction. Pottery Bayou will offer make-you-own-pottery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Haiti Scholars Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which collects donations for Haiti relief. Haiti Scholars believes the gift of education brings hope, self-esteem, and empowerment.
