Dinner set to raise money for Haitian children – Jefferson City News Tribune

A Jefferson City-based nonprofit will host a dinner to raise money for needy children in Haiti in mid-April.
Missionaries Richard and Iva Presberry, of Hope for Caribbean Kids Inc., have organized the “Building Hope for the Future of Children in Haiti” fundraising dinner.
The dinner will occur 6:30 p.m. April 14 at Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 McCarty St.
Rod Smith, KRCG-TV sports director, will be emcee for the event. The evening will feature keynote speaker Pierre Descieu, who is Haitian-born. Vocalist Rebekah Chaney and pianist Joseph Hardaway are to provide other entertainment.
There is no charge to attend, but attendees will have an opportunity to donate during the event. All proceeds will benefit Haitian children.
