Concrete / Tilt-up Foreman – help Haiti build a stronger future – Schneps Jobs – Jobs in New York | Post job listings – Bronx Times

Join the Extollo team and gain a unique opportunity to impact the construction industry in Haiti through the development and construction
of tilt up concrete houses and panelized security walls. Extollo is a social-good business that operates a construction company and training center in Haiti and is in the process of introducing tilt-up technology to Haiti by first developing and building prototype concrete
tilt-up houses.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an experience where they can use their skills and knowledge to help build a stronger Haiti. Those semi retired or fully retired may find this to be a great opportunity to share their experience with those who need it the most.
We’re looking for a person of high character who loves adventure, is experienced in concrete and/or tilt-up construction, and who enjoys working with their hands to teach
and equip others so they can reach their potential. This person will
work with Sherman Balch of Balch Enterprises, a 29-year member of the
Tilt-Up Concrete Association and a recipient of The Peter Courtois
Memorial Award.
We are looking for professionals who can give anywhere from 2 to 4
(or more) weeks at a time, and ideally travel to our campus in Haiti a
few times a year to keep continuity. Anyone new to Extollo will first
live/work on campus for 2 weeks so that they can get an honest taste of
what it’s like without making a longer time commitment.
For those up for the challenge, this may be the most difficult, fulfilling, and rewarding work you will ever do. Join us in bringing the benefits of tilt-up construction to the nation of Haiti and help build a better future for everyone involved.
